Manager Liam O`Neill had the luxury of fielding a near full strength side for the first time in a long time, and it certainly paid dividends as he watched the Greenbacks pull off their best win since early November ( incidentally another 3-0 win over Rushall ) and it was a pleasure to see Adam Kinder getting a brace of goals, along with Ben Twigger who netted one of the best goals witnessed at the Oval this season.
 
United dominated from the start but failed rarely threatened Town keeper Paul Tassell ,after ten minutes a Danny Pitham free kick whistled over Tassells cross bar after Akin Aladetoun had been bought down by Steve Cone just outside the goal area .
 
Eight minutes from half time Twigger hit a magnificent shot from all of 30 yards after a well timed back heel pass from Paul Spacey, leaving Tassell to ponder what had just flew past him.  A minute later Towns Ben Gascoyne forced keeper Andy Kemp into making a brilliant save, to make sure that the Greenbacks led at half time 1-0.

Five minutes into the second period and a move worked by Spacey and Twigger was broke up by Reds Tom Davies, when a possible goal looked to be on the cards.  Town enjoyed a brief spell of play, but on 61minutes Kinder got the first of his goals.  Through persistent play he had one shot blocked but then followed up to but the ball beyond Tassell.  Six minutes later and Kinder struck again this time with  a well placed header supplied by an inch perfect free kick from Spacey.

Kemp saved well from a Gascoyne shot on 71 minutes to deny their visitors a consolation goal, United well deserved this win as they now go on the road for their next four league fixtures.
